Design made from original artwork by Nell Floeter This video will take you step by step to show you how to prepare your fabric and hoop for stitching out designs. It will show you how to stabilize your fabric and how to use the Material Setters by Coral Clark*. The video also shows you how to rehoop for designs that are larger than your hoop size that have been divided up (split). It doesn't matter which hoop size you have, I show you exactly how to stitch out designs and rehoop to get accurate placement. In the video, I demonstrate how to use
a large hoop to stitch out the large design that is included on the The included *Please note that you aren't required to have the Material Setters for these methods but they do help. Coral had to go out of business because of health reasons but you may still be able to find her setters at your local machine dealer. NOTE: Now that quality floppy disks are getting harder to find, we are now shipping the design files and all instructions on a CD. The designs are all in Zip files. If you don't have an unzipping program, you might want to download an evaluation copy from WinZip http://www.winzip.com Don't delay! Order today! No refunds or returns after shipment. Thank you for your understanding. Copyright - can not be duplicated or resold. __________________________________________________ Here is a picture that Irene Lightfoot sent me a very long time ago. I had trouble getting it scanned into the computer but here it is finally! It is so beautiful. It looks really great on her beautiful bed. Good job Irene!

I watched it last
night and I must say you did yourself proud. I learned so much I can put
to use right away. I'm also glad you gave detailed instructions on using
the Material Setters. They are just the best thing I have ever seen for
lining up designs.
I love the
designs you have included with the video.
The video is very professionally done, and so
easy to view and follow without the distraction of things in the way of
the camera, and the VERY IMPORTANT close-ups.
Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together, but from the credits at the end, I would say your assistant and your video adviser and photographer deserve big hugs also.

After watching your tape, I
think that I can do it! Thank you so much for making it easier.
I purchased the wooden holders, but had no idea how to use them until I watched your tape. Again.... THANK YOU! Helen Alexander ________________________
I received the video on Thursday. I truly enjoyed watching it Friday morning. It is excellent. I'm glad you took the time to go over all the steps so carefully. Thank you.

Have just
gotten through your hooping video. So glad to actually see you face to
face. I can't begin to tell you how much this has helped me. Seeing
the things you have in instructions was very helpful. I really, really
learned a lot and I think there will be no stopping me. I had the material
setters but was not using them to their potential. Dianne Dennis ___________________________
I just finished watching your hooping video and feel much more confident about trying this technique out. And your added stitches for alignment are genius. Loved all the other tips such as the moleskin as well. Thanks.

Hi Murphy, wanted to let you know your video had arrived and I'm more than pleased with it. Thank you for taking all that time and effort making the video and the floppy disc. I'm reasonably new to machine embroidery and although I have some stuff to read I find a video so much better, I can watch you actually doing it and covering the very basics which I've never found in a book or magazine. ... I found Emblibrary earlier this year and have used some of their designs making things especially for my grandson Tyler. I had always gone for the designs that fitted my 4x4 hoop but now I'm going to try larger ones and knowing you can split some of the designs will be fantastic for Christmas.

It couldn't have turned out more perfect !!. Its beautiful!!!. I couldn't have done it without your hooping video. I used white felt and I and a double layer of totally stable just like you did. I made a basting file, and its gorgeous. You can use this letter as a testimonial if you would like. No one should even try this without your video.
Thank you, Freda ___________________________ Preview! Here is the answer! Thank you so much for visiting my Preview Page earlier. I really had fun with your guesses! The answer is shown below. It is also a sample design for you to download and stitch out! This is a small portion of the design that is included with the video.
If you are very confident about your hooping, you can now buy the Gazebo Scene design separately. Please click on this link to go to that page to order the design separately. Click here to download the extensive baste file shown in my video. This is in HUS format only and is sized for the 150 mm x 240 mm hoop. For Brother/Babylock machines with the 180 x 300 mm hoops, here is an extensive baste file that I digitized. Click here to download Zip file. Design is in PHC format and completely fills the hoop area. Click here to download 2 extensive baste files for the new Janome 11000 machines. One is 200 x 200 mm and the other is for the Macro Hoop which is 200 x 280 mm. These are in the JEF+ format and many programs can not read this format yet. Embird does and so does the MC11000 machine. Just unzip and put in your machine. They work great! Please respect my copyright! Updated September 24, 2007 |
